Do I need to buy a ticket for everyone attending?
Spring show seats are selling quickly this year and are limited to the capacity of the theater, so it is very important that everyone has a ticket. Don’t worry, there are discounted rates for children under 5 and students!
What time is my dancer scheduled to perform?
Check our "Featured Acts" section of this page and see scheduled performance times for each routine. Dancers should check-in to the dressing rooms 60 minutes before the start of their show unless otherwise specificied (teeny & bitsy levels).
Do I bring my dancer in her costume on show day?
All dancers should arrive to the show in regular street clothes. Costumes should be transported in provided garment bags. Dancers will change into costume following their warm-up.
Can my dancer come and sit in the audience with me after they dance?
Yes! Teeny, Bitsy, and Mini level 1 dancers can be picked up by their parent at the dressing rooms following their performance and enjoy the rest of the show. Please wait until intermission to enter and exit the theater in an effort to not distract the dancers on stage. Dancers can only be signed out of the dressing rooms during scheduled performance breaks. These dancers can also be signed out at the end of the show.
Does my little ballerina need to wear make-up?
Definitely a yes. Everyone should wear at least a light amount of makeup to define facial features under the stage lights. It is very bright on the stage and we want you and our videography to get all of the tiny sparkling smiles in clear focus!
I have a new ballerina! Any tips on making the perfect ballet bun?
Don’t worry! Soon you will be a ballet bun expert! Start with a high ponytail pulled back nice and tight at the crown of the head. Twist and wrap the hair clockwise pinning the hair down at the base with bobby pins as you go. You can use a hair net from a drugstore or additional bobby pins around the edge along the bottom to keep the bun smooth around the sides. Spray with hairspray! Also... Here's a video link.
What items do I need to bring for show day?
All dancers should pack costumes, required dance shoes, 2 pairs of tights (check parent info sheet for color), bobbypins, and hairspray. Dancers do not need to wear their regular class leotard under their costume.
